How do you wear a claddagh ring?

If you don't know what it is it's an irish ring with the heart, crrown and the two hands holding the ring. I have one and I don't know if I should wear it up or down.

1If you wear it on the right hand with the heart facing out it means that you're available. On the right hand with the heart facing in it means you're seeing someone. If you wear it on the left hand with the heart facing out it means you're engaged. On the left hand with the heart facing in it means you're married. Hope this helps.
